What the studio does automatically
Export packs: what one press renders
A listing is not an image, it is a set of them, and shooting a set one frame at a time is where the afternoon goes. An export pack is the studio rendering the set for you — the same piece, the same Look, from several angles or in several metals — and labelling what came out. Here is what each of the four contains.
Store listing — four angles at 2K
Catalog ¾, Front, Side and Top, each at 2K. This is the marketplace set: the three-quarter for the main image, the front and side for detail, the top for a band or a bracelet. Everything else — Look, materials, pose — is whatever you had set; the pack changes only the camera between frames and puts it back afterwards.
Metal range — every gold and platinum
The Catalog ¾ view rendered once per metal: yellow, rose and white gold and platinum, from one file and one frame. This is the pack for a product sold in several finishes — the images match each other exactly, because nothing but the metal changed between them. It swaps the metal on the parts that are metal and leaves the stones alone.
Print / 4K — hero and back
Hero ¾ and Back ¾ at 3840×2160, for print and for a page that shows the piece large. The back view is the one every other pack omits, and it is the one a buyer of a ring wants to see.
- Store listing — 4 images, 2K, four angles
- Social square — 2 images, 2048², hero + close-up
- Metal range — 4 images, 2K, one per metal
- Print — 2 images, 4K, hero + back
The contact sheet, and the file names
Each pack also writes a contact sheet: every frame, labelled with its angle or metal, in one image. That is how a folder of renders stays legible a week later. Individual frames are named for the piece and the angle. Everything here happens on your own machine: the file is converted and rendered in the browser through your GPU and is never uploaded, so an unreleased design stays unreleased.
What a pack does not do
It does not change the Look, the pose or the stones, and it does not run across files. One pack, one file, one press. For a range, the guide on rendering a collection covers keeping packs consistent across pieces.
Questions
Can I choose my own angles for a pack?
The packs are fixed sets, which is what keeps a range consistent. For a single custom angle, set the camera and export a still — up to 8K — on its own.
Does the Metal range pack change the stones?
No. It swaps the metal on the metal parts only; every stone keeps its settings. A diamond stays a diamond across all four finishes.
How long does a pack take?
About a minute for the Store listing pack on a normal laptop with a traced centre stone; faster with Sparkle stones, slower at 4K. It renders on your GPU, so a faster card is faster.

Social square — hero and close-up at 2048²
Two square images: the Hero ¾ angle and a Close-up on the setting. Square because that is what social feeds crop to, and two because a post wants the piece and then the detail.
