A 360° turntable video, from the CAD file
A spinning product video used to mean a turntable, a camera and an afternoon. Here it is a camera move, a duration and an export: the studio renders it frame by frame on your own GPU and writes a WebM or MP4, from the same file that made the stills.
Twenty moves, not one
A plain turntable is the classic and it is here. So is a sparkle sweep, which turns the lighting the opposite way to the piece so the facets flash across a full turn. Beyond those: an orbit that circles the camera instead, push-ins and pull-backs, a rise, a fly-by, a showreel that strings beats together — and a set built around a change of pace, such as a whip round to the back that settles slowly home to the front.
Every move plays on tap in the studio before you record it, so the choice is made by watching rather than by reading a label.
Rendered, not captured
The video is rendered a frame at a time from the view you framed, at the export resolution, and encoded in the browser. That is why a slow frame costs you seconds rather than a dropped frame in the clip, and why the result matches the stills exactly — same materials, same lighting, same file.

What video cannot do that stills can
Video has no alpha channel. A transparent backdrop that exports as a cut-out PNG records as black in a video, so choose a real backdrop before recording. The studio says so at the point it matters.
Questions
Can I make a spinning video for Instagram or a product page?
Yes. Pick a move, pick a duration, export as MP4 or WebM. The square social pack and the video use the same Look, so the still and the clip match.
How long does a video take to render?
It depends on your GPU and the resolution — the frames are rendered on your machine, not on a server. A short clip of a ring on a normal laptop takes a minute or two; the studio shows progress as it goes.
Can the video have a transparent background?
No — WebM and MP4 have no alpha channel, so a transparent backdrop records as black. Use a real backdrop for video and the cut-out PNG for stills.
