For sellers
Listing photos from the CAD file you already have
If the product exists as a CAD file, its listing images can exist before the product does. Rendermio exports packs sized for store listings, social and print — on a white, paper or studio backdrop, from the same angles every time — and never uploads the file.
Packs, because a listing is several images
Marketplaces want a set: a clean front on white, a three-quarter, a side, a top, and usually a square crop for social. The export packs produce those in one go, at the same lighting and camera each time, so a range of twenty products photographs as one range rather than twenty separate shoots.
- Store listing — 2K, four angles: catalogue, front, side, top
- Social square — 2048×2048, hero and close-up
- Metal range — the same piece in every gold and platinum
- Print / 4K — hero and back at 3840×2160
- Contact sheet — every frame in a pack, labelled
White, paper, or a real studio
A pure-white backdrop is a flat fill, which is what most marketplaces ask for on the main image. For the other images there are paper sweeps — soft paper, seamless grey, cool mist — that read as a photograph rather than a cut-out, and pooled studio backdrops for a hero shot. Cut-out PNGs export with transparency so you can composite onto whatever the store wants.
Marketplace requirements differ and change; check the current rules for yours. What is consistent is that a white-background main image and at least a couple of thousand pixels on the long edge are expected almost everywhere, and every pack here clears that.
Every variant, without re-shooting
A product offered in six finishes needs six sets of photos. The metal-range pack renders them from one file; for other materials — car paint, leather, timber, stone, glass, the industrial metals — switching is a click and the camera does not move. The images of the variants match because they came from the same frame.
Works for the things that are not jewellery
The same engine renders furniture, household products, industrial parts, cars and buildings; tell the studio what the file is and it dresses it accordingly. Seventeen input formats are read, from STEP and Rhino 3DM through STL, OBJ and glTF.
Questions
What image sizes do I get?
Store listing packs at 2K, square packs at 2048×2048, and 4K at 3840×2160. Individual stills can go to 8K. Every marketplace's minimums that we are aware of are well below these; check the current rules for the one you sell on.
Can I get a pure white background?
Yes — 'Pure White' is a flat white fill for main images, and cut-out PNGs export with a transparent background so you can place the product on anything.
Do I need product photography skills?
No. A Look sets lighting, backdrop, pose and camera together — Catalog, Hero, Velvet and others — and the packs choose the angles. The first image takes about a minute.
Is my product design uploaded?
No. The CAD file is converted and rendered on your own machine and never leaves the browser, so an unreleased product stays unreleased.
